I needed to replace some corks for the spice jars I made 30 years ago. The dark ones are the old ones. You can see the new ones work well!

Works perfectly for sealing off the ends of the glass tube that holds the arrow of the first deer I shot in my life. Will be up on the wall below her, when the mount comes back later this year.

Only company that carried this size, a little long for my need so I sawed off 1/4 inch. All good!

Clawfoot Bathtub Stopper-Size 26 Cork Stoppers - Standard I have 2 old clawfoot tubs in my garden for growing medicinal and edible water plants. The regular rubber tub stoppers no longer worked in both. I tried several alternative stopper methods which put my gold fish, the mosquito larvae killer, at risk as sometimes they too would leak. Last fall my husband suggested I try a cork stopper of which I had one that fit. It worked perfectly. However, it's started to decompose in June. After measuring it, I purchased the size 26 and its working great. The stopper arrived promptly after purchase. The whole transaction was smooth. Also, the price here is much less then on Amazon. Something I like to do with corks is stick them on the ends of stainless forks I get for 25 cents each at a local thrift store and then write the names of plants on them and use them as plant id markers. They look quaint, last for about 2 years and more if they're in the shade and help me remember what I planted and where.

Cork stoppers for jars We recently purchased a large lot of turn-of-the-century porcelain spice jars missing original lids. The #26-#28 cork stoppers worked great for a lot less cost and work than fabricating custom turned wood lids. Quality for "Standard" grade was impressive - exactly what we needed.

Big Cork Stopper The #26 standard stopper is just right for closing a (now antique) Thermos brand steel thermos, for which a replacement lid is no longer available. It is food safe, highly insulating, and it fits beautifully. The cork is so perfect for this that I made sure to buy two. The service I received was fast and entirely problem free.
