I use these to make cork seals (to replace rubber or worn out cork seals) for the upper bowl of Cona and Hellem vacuum coffeemakers, since replacements are no longer available from the manufacturers.

Perfect fit!
My wife collects antiques and recently found an old whiskey jar...without the cork stopper. So, I shopped around for anything that would fit, only to find the size is not common. I found the perfect stopper size on WidgetCo and also learned there is different qualities of cork; anything from fishin' corks to liquor storage, which is what I ordered. It arrived quickly and fit "like it was made for it" and now we not only have a jug from the past, but it's also filled with our favorite whisky!

A Great resource for corks
I had a problem with large cracks in one of the corks I ordered. I called customer service they sent a replacement cork out the same day. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Works Fine But ...
The corks were purchased as replacements for the traditional Thermos Bottle which used a cork stopper. The quality is very high and the cork does fit but it is just a little too fat on the bottom and not as long as the original corks designed as vacuum bottle stoppers. If WIDGETCO would make replica corks for vintage thermos bottles and advertise them on ebay they would sell a lot of them because these corks are in demand and go for too much on ebay. WIDGETCO: make a longer cork stopper with the correct taper and bottom diameter and advertise and sell them as Thermos Bottle Cork Stoppers.
