These replacements are the correct size and fill the hole. The original screw covers were made slightly different and snapped in tightly. These don’t snap in so I needed a dab of adhesive to hold them in place. Overall, I’m happy with the product as the missing covers cheapened the looks of my bench so my bench is now complete.

Unfortunately the hole was larger than the 5/8" so the plugs had to be taped in to hold them in place. they function good and keep the elements out.

5/8" Plastic Hole Plugs Fit Great
The cap measurements were accurate and snap in great. The plastic is not too thin and they seem durable. We replaced existing hole plugs on a white vinyl picket fence. Only time will tell if they hold up well outdoors. WidgetCo was by far the cheapest price we could find for these hole plugs. Shipping was very fair and very fast.

Fine plug
The inside of this plug was a little different from the inside of the 1/2" plug that I had bought earlier. Still, it was worth it to try the plug on the Vintage Salt and Pepper shakers I had. The holes on one was bigger than the other. Definitely worth the cost and no shipping charges. I will look at the site for what else is available.
