Thought these were 3/4" long--they were not--they fit the shutter bolts in diameter, but were too short to cover the complete bolt--disappointed, but can make them work with some help from extra grease on the exposed part. may have missed the length somehow, but went back to the order pg., but did not find the length data

Just what I needed. Reasonable shipping cost and timely. Disappointed in the length -advertised as 1/2", but in fact varied. In my application the longer most useful and the short ones questionable.

1/4 screw protectors, white
I'm having my house painted and I needed screw protectors to go over the hurricane shutter screws. I am happy with the product; they fit snugly and look good. Weirdly, some of the protectors are an 1/8th longer and whiter than the others. I wish I could have ordered just those -- 5/8ths fit better!<br><<br> [From WIDGETCO: We will issue a case to investigate this. We prefer all parts to conform to our specs.]

After visiting my local Home Depot and having to search from Hardware to Closet Organizers I finally just STUMBLED across Screw Covers on my own. Home Depot is great at saying HI to you, but no one knows anything there any more. Anyway... 2 local HD's were out of stock on these items cause an outside vendor manages it.
