I used these to fill in a .312" diameter hole on Andersen windows in a house we're renovating. We removed the fake grills which have a plastic grommet in them. I pulled the grommets, leaving a nicely milled factory hole. The plug fit perfectly. I tested one, removed it (drilled small hole in center and pulled it out with a screw). I then put a small amount of wood glue in the hole, tapped in the plug flush, filled any depression, etc, sanded smooth and flat, and now will paint the windows. The plugs make this job much easier, and they are consistently sized and of nice quality. Great timesaver and provided an invisible repair.
