I have been searching for flat cork in 1/8 inch size. I have tried using cork that was coiled but was frustrated that it could not be flattened. This cork is exactly what I wanted and it is priced competitively.

We used the 3mm to line our new cabinets and pantry shelves and the cork was excellent. Easy to cut and shipped flat ( not rolls) so install was a breeze. Delivery was fast and I really enjoyed the fact that my scraps are able to be composted due to no formaldehyde.

We started remodeling our fireplace to find out we had nothing between the concrete slab and the laminate floor, it has always been a super cold room. We ordered these, we used the rolls before but the tiles were so much more convenient! Wish we could have gotten 1/4 inch instead but it would have not fit with the existing baseboards. Shipping was fast and the price was best we could find. Highly recommend. We certainly feel the difference in the floor temperature!

I recently installed a vinyl floor in my Florida condo. It was suggested that I install a vapor barrier between the cement and flooring, also for warmth and sound dampening to install a layer of cork. I found this after hearing my husband's reaction when the roll of 1/8 inch cork rolled up on him when he was trying to glue it down. We got it yesterday and it was exactly what he wanted.

Used it yesterday and today under lamenent floating floor. Thought there was suppose to be a adhesive peel and stick back, but not. It worked well laying one layer on another and staggering and curling was flatten as floor layed on top. Hope that the geopathic stress is eliminated from the power lines and breaker box downstairs under bedroom that is affecting my health. Thanks for the product. Too bad I could not get the quarter inch thickness until April 15th, that is why I used the two one eighth inch

So this is our 4th purchase of cork from this company and I figured it was time to leave a review. We are laying laminate flooring down and doing some remodeling to sell our home. After searching underlayment types and prices I decided to give this a try! We are so glad we did, we have laid about 1,000 sq ft at this point. Every single piece has been in perfect condition and the precut rectangle are so much easier to work with especially in our awkward shaped home! We have already recommended them to everyone we know. I ordered the 1/8th inch cork for an underlayment for our new bamboo wood flooring on a Sunday, and received it on the following Wednesday. Great delivery timeline. The product is excellent and very easy to work with. It sure made a big difference for sound deadening also. I recommend this product highly.

This product worked excellent as underlayment for a laminate wood floor I just did. It lays down very quickly since its cut into sheets unlike using a roll that tends to curl up and constantly needs cutting. I will use this product as underlayment on all of the floors I do. It's simply too affordable and effective to pass up. Dealing with WidgetCo was awesome. Placed my order and it all showed up by early morning of the 2nd day. I was impressed!

This underlayment went down very easy, no curling which is awesome! The only thing that may have been nice would've been some instructions. I used generic cork underlayment instructions from the internet and hopefully all went ok. We put it over a slab foundation under laminate flooring and it seems to be keeping it a bit more natural sounding.

I'm using the 3mm (1/8") sheets as underlayment for my click-lock engineered wood flooring. The sheets are very well made and they're also very easy to work with; You just lay them out and trim with scissors. The flooring feels great underfoot and it is quiet to walk on, much quieter than this room's previous floor. I have several more rooms to install, and I'm going to try the 1/4" thickness next, but I couldn't use it in this room because I wanted to match the height of the floor with the adjacent hallway.

Product was great, exactly as described online. The material thickness was consistent from piece to piece, as were L x W dimensions. Price was by far the best I could find anywhere. I'm glad I chose these rectangular sheets, as opposed to a roll of cork underlay, for my bamboo floor installation. A stack of 2x3 sheets was much easier to deal with vs a large roll.

I love WIDGETCO and I love this cork, so I have ordered it four times. But it seemed to me that this time the cork was more porous. When I held up a sheet, I could see dots of light through it. And when I glued it to the floor, some glue seeped up through the holes. I hope the supplier hasn't lowered their standards.

The cork underlayment is of very good quality, delivery was very fast (and free!!!). We've got the 3 mm as we didn't want the floors to be higher and the isolation is great, there is cement under it but when stepping on the cork you feel the warmth. Definitely recommend!

I used this cork as underlayment for bamboo flooring. It is excellent. I had previously used rolls of 3mm cork for underlayment, but this was much better because it is flat, so it doesn't curl or tear as easily. I used the leftover cork for lining my kitchen cabinets and drawers. The price is reasonable and the free shipping was quick with the boxes arriving undamaged. I placed this under my flooring in my basement as a thermal barrier because my other option was to tear out the foundation and place a new insulating layer under the concrete. I was only able to use the 1/8 inch underlayment and was hoping to get a 5 degree change in floor temperature. Thermal infrared scanning shows a consistent 20 degree difference, the engineer I had working with me told me it would have cost me about $11,000 to get the same thing by tearing out and replacing the insulation under the foundation.

Kudos to WIDGETCO's customer service which actually answers phone calls and has accurate information about their products. On-line ordering was easy enough to do over my smart phone and the underlayment was delivered by FedEx in less than 7 days. After much research as to which type of underlayment to use for a new laminate/hardwood floor I decided to use cork not only because of it's hypo-allergenic and anti-mold/mildew properties but also because it offers a firm, quiet, and "grippy" base to lay the floor on. This is the best option if a glue-down installation is not an option and you don't want a hollow feel or sound underfoot. I am very happy with my purchase of the 3mm sheets of cork underlayment from WIDGETCO.

This is a great product for use under a laminated floor. I have used this product and this company on and off for a few years. I have used cork over wood base and concrete base with no issue. The product always arrived in good condition. Cork is easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Having successfully used these in another house as insulation we opted to do the same in our laundry room. As there is minimal crawl space, insulating from below was not an option and the cork was an inexpensive solution. It doesn't tear easily and is simple to install.

Product came quickly and was super easy to install. Used as underlayment for vinyl tile. I think it was much easier to work with than standard rolled underlayment. Did this by myself. Sheets were flat and easy to manuver didn't have to try and struggle with a big roll. NO problems with the sheets beautiful and intact.

The cork is very nice and great to work with. It is also a great price so I am very happy with it. I am going to give this product 4 stars because the boxes had no installation instructions and I couldn't find anything on widgetco's website. I checked several sites on the internet and got a variety of suggestions as to proper installation. In the end we ended up talking to someone at the local home improvement store and a contractor friend for recommendaions. We are taping the pieces together and that seems to be working fine. All in all, this is a really nice product

Had the worse expirence with Fed Ex. My house is under construction and spoke to a Fed Ex representive and asked if someone could call me on the day of delivery. The representative said it wouldn't be a problem. On the day before the schedule date Fed Ex left two of the seven box at the house that was under construction. If I wouldn't have checked online that the packages was left at the house unattended possibilites the packages would have gone missing. After talking to Fed Ex I was informed the drivers didn't have the obligation to call yet I was told the driver would call. On the next day on the schedule delievery date the remaining packages again was left at the door with out the driver even ringing the door bell. I would not order anything from your store again cause the product has possibilities of going missing.

Came in perfect condition earlier than promised. Much easier to work with than the 100ft rolls we previously use.

I used 3mm Cork Underlayment for a new laminent floor I installed. Started with premium cloth recycled porduct, but concerned with noise/echo sound. Switched to the cork underlayment, great product, choice and value. Room sounds great and when walking on floor feels very sturdy. Would recommend cork over all other underlayments.

Good shipping, packaging was good. Also, I expected this thickness to crumble when cut, but that wasn't a problem at all! Haven't finished the floors yet, but seems great!

Every sheet was perfect and the delivery was much better then expected. Used as an underlayment on wide plank flooring it was easy to measure, easy to cut around obstructions (use scissors) for a perfect fit. Highly recommend!

We bought this to supplement a medium-quality vapor barrier and foam underlayment. This 3mm cork is the perfect size. Not a single sheet has been damaged or unusable so far, despite some of the boxes being a little dinged in transport. Arrived sooooooo fast, exactly as promised. Love this cork. So easy to work with. Score a line with a box cutter knife, bend and tear for a perfect cut. So much easier to work with than long sheets of underlayment that would curl and need to be cut. The boxes were a little damaged during shipment, but the product, so far, has been in excellent condition. It holds up well as I walk on it, before I get the hardwood flooring installed. Good price compared to other underlayments, and far more eco-friendly. Should stand up well to radiant heating tubes. Arrived in 3-5 days, can't beat that.

Bought to use as underlayment for a solid click lock bamboo floor. The cork worked very well and the floor doesn't have that hollow sound that often comes with the free floating floor. It is much easier to handle than the rolls and you don't have to worry about it curling up on you. Best of all it was almost half the price of cork rolls from the store. PS: I ordered on a Monday night and it was in my house by lunch on Wednesday.

I was looking for an underlayment that did the job while not breaking the bank. I'm pleased to say this product exceeded my expectations. It was used in upstairs bedrooms and it does a great job of making the rooms feel 'solid' and not echo. I paid for the upgraded shipping to make sure it got here in time for my installer friend and it was here super quick. After a little trepidation he got used to working with the material and it worked out for him. His only comment was that because it's on the fragile side he couldn't work ahead too far ahead for fear of damaging it while moving around the worksite.

After I saw them mentioned in a review online, I ordered a box of the 1/8" thick cork tiles to use as underlayment for a new hardwood floor I was going to lay in my home office.
