I have bought several similar devices from other suppliers over the past several weeks, but have had to return them all. Some didn't fit the bottle of my preferred drink --- the 750 ml 10 year old Ardbeg scotch whisky. Some fit, more or less, but leaked when I poured. Some fit and didn't leak, but didn't cut off the flow of whisky after the desired amount had poured. The WidgetCo measured pourer works great. It fits the Ardbeg bottle snugly, easy enough to pull out, but with absolutely no leakage when fitted in. And it's a real measured pourer: it pours until it reaches the measured amount, and then with a click it cuts off the flow completely, with no dribbling. I am entirely pleased. That said, I must point out that I ordered a 1.5 oz. measured pourer, and that's what the bag it came it said it was, but in fact it pours a 1 oz. dram every time. For me, that's not a big deal: if I want a bigger drink I can pour the measured shot, tip the bottle up, and then repeat the process, and voila, a double shot. But if you're looking for absolute accuracy in a 1.5 oz. measured pourer, then this, good as it is, probably isn't it.
