This cork was the closest thing I have found to fit the cookie jars that were made on Okinawa in the early 1960's. Over the years the original tops have been broken or cracked and we could not really use the jars. The cork is a bit small and sits a little low in the jar, but keeps the air out. which is all we needed. Thank you so much.

Perfect Fit for Fido Jar
The top of my Bormioli Rocco Fido 50.75 oz Square Jar shattered, which was a huge bummer. I didn't want to throw the jar away because it was fine, but I wasn't sure where I could find a top. Enter the size 48 cork stopper. This is the perfect size to use for this jar! I'm glad I was able to find a reasonable replacement.

I couldn't find a stopper the right size for my project anywhere in the UK unless I was prepared to fork out for a minimum order of 5000. Had a huge glass jar with a cork stopper to throw loose change in but the glass jar broke. When it was thrown out the cork stopper was thrown with it. Found another large glass jar but no cork stopper came with it. Found just the right one and the right size here. Couldn't be more delighted.
