It works The cork I received us not one solid cork as shown in the picture, it is layers of cork glued together. It seems to be sturdy, and fits the jar I purchased it for.

Very nice cork! WidgetCo’s website was very easy to navigate and find the product I wanted. They were very responsive. My failure is that I measured wrong. The jar top measured 4 inches. For some unknown reason I expected the cork to be tapered more than the description indicated. The cork was too large to fit. So I used a cheese grater to trim it down to fit the jar. I wish I had ordered the next size down, but I didn’t. Next time...

#52 Cork Jar Stopper Nice dense natural cork jar lid. Measure carefully (as I did) for the perfect fit. Replaces ceramic top on my garlic keeper (accidentally broken by my girlfriend). Looks much nicer than the aluminum foil that I was using. Quality item.

Pleased I only have one suggestion.I ordered my cork stopper going with the instruction from the web site and both times the size was way to small. Photo are sometimes needed to help understand exactly how to measure the size needed.

Size 52 large jar stopper They are good quality for the price. I am glad you are doing this because I could not find many others making them. I have three jars from England. They are the clay colored Portugese jars for coffee, tea and sugar. The size 52 Cork stopper works well with two jars. However, it does not quite fit one of the jars. This is not because the cork are different sizes. The jar opening has to be slightly smaller not noticeable otherwise. If these cork stoppers were slightly more tapered it would have worked with the third jar as well.I don't know if it is possible to taper them a little more or have size 51(all the odd sizes as well) Overall, I am pleased.

Awesome Service I had ordered the #52 stopper for my vintage Oreo cookie jar (the original ceramic stopper just recently broke). I measured the opening at 4" and ordered this one which had the 4" diameter top. Duh, I should have ordered the #54, which had the 4" bottom and 4.25" top. The company was so accommodating and responded so quickly to my inquiry. I wish I had a need for more corks around my house, just so I could buy more from this amazing company!

#52 Stopper I have this garlic jar with a cork stopper very much like these #52 cork stoppers. The stopper that came with the garlic jar sorta would sit on top of the jar, a ceramic one, but not fit inside. After a while, I took it out to the shop and ran the cork against my grinder - a little bit of overkill! - and quickly ground off part of the circumference of the stopper, creating a ledge. It fit pretty good now...but not perfectly. After a time, I started searching around for a correctly sized stopper. I looked on eBay and Amazon, and then tried Google, where I found WIDGETCO! After measuring and looking at what was available, I settled on 2 #52's and 1 #54. The #54 turned out too large for my jar, but the #52 fit perfectly. The #54 I'm saving for another project! The service I received was great with fast delivery.

Great Quality Cork Products And Super Customer Service We ordered two sizes of cork stoppers and a set of cork tiles to complete our kitchen remodel. The products were shipped quickly and were true quality cork. The tiles worked great and adhered with no problems. The stoppers look super and fit well. There was a mistake in our initial shipment and we received one set of incorrect size cork stoppers. We notified WIDGETCO and they had the correct ones sent the same day along with a postage paid label to return the others. You simply can't improve on this service. Best place to buy jar stoppers! I had looked everywhere for these size stoppers. I make terrariums and frequently have a container with an odd size mouth.
