1" Cherry Button Top Wood Plugs

We had bought a used dining room set and it was missing small screw plugs on some chairs, and larger ones on the trestles. I gave up trying to find the correct sizes at local stores, then I found WidgetCo. I ordered Button Tops for the chairs, stained them with a touch-up marker, have them a spritz of poly, popped them into the holes with a gentle but firm force-fit on the tapered plug. Looks great! Can't tell from the originals. Whenever I need any of those hard-to-explain, and harder-to-find little "widgets" in my workshop, now I know that this is THE place to get them! I could not find the 1 inch wood plugs locally for a Christmas craft project. I found them at WIDGETCO but had trouble purchasing them on-line. I received the the 1" plugs as ordered, for some nice Cherry and Bubinga shelves I'm making, this was the only place I could find Cherry 1" buttons to cover the bolt holes. The majority of the buttons were in near perfect condition, some had either a little bit of tear out, or some chipping around the edges due to rougher grain, but there were enough that were good for all the holes and all were usable. I'd just recommend ordering about 2x the minimum you need if you're concerned about them being flawless, which is a lot to ask given it's wood. They finished up beautifully. Happy to recommend this product and company.
