Size #28 Cork Stoppers in Extra Select Grade are superb tapered corks. Made from 100% natural cork. Size #28 Extra Select Corks Stoppers are manufactured to exacting standards to provide a secure fit every time. All cork stoppers are visually sorted depending on their quality grade. The cork grade is determined by the lenticels (crevices) that occur naturally in the cork. Extra Select are among the highest grade available, meaning they have smaller and fewer lenticels than a XXX or XXXX grade.

Extra select not great
Ordered 3 of the largest stoppers in the highest grade available for a turning project. Very disappointed in the quality of grading these corks. Lots of holes and full of voids and not usuable. Will not be ordering again.

Extra Kindness
After receiving amazon.com feedback that what I needed was a size 30 cork, I ordered it. Turned out that the feedback was not correct and the cork was too large. I called your company and Customer Service learned what was needed and sent a replacement #28 cork at no charge. Unexpected and marvelous!
