I am using two stainless steel barrels to store wine. The containers originally had aluminum lids which would react with the wine. Your #24 corks were a direct replacement and a perfect fit.. I was pleased that I could buy the small number of corks I needed. Thank you.

Good product, service and prices

I only needed one and a specific size so this really fit the bill. I was surprised and disappointed to receive not a natural cork colored cork but a white one that I will now need to take the time to stain.

[Reply from WidgetCo: Sorry you were not satisfied with the cork color. There is an industry standard food grade sanitation wash performed on the corks. Sometimes the whitening is more pronounced but often usually dissipates in a few weeks or months. We have some control over the shade and will work to lessen the whitish appearance you experienced. I purchased three corks to use with a decorative demi-john bottle. The size 24 was perfect, but I purchased the others (size 26 and 28) just in case!

Fast shipping, easy to order in small quantities, nice communication on order status, and accurate sizing, but cruder cork than I expected. One of my larger corks arrived with a gouge out of it, not useable.

[From WIDGETCO: XXX grade can have larger cracks and crevices than the XXXX or EXTRA Select grades, but no large gouges should be present. Customer Service can help get you a replacement.]
