#12 White Silicone Rubber Stoppers

I have been using French mustard in a stone jar for 20 years. I loved the real cork stoppers but the fricking FDA made them change to a plastic monstrosity to be able to import. While I loved the cork stoppers and could finally order them from France I did my research and found that your #12 silicone stopper would work perfectly. It has and I will be sharing this with other Pommery mustard aficionados.

I have been buying Pommery mustard in the 500 gram jars for 20 years. The original cork stoppers were replaced by a plastic “thing” so it could be sold in the US due to sanitation standards. (What a crock of bureaucratic BS.) Found out recently that the Pommery company now sells original French corks as a side business. Got one and it was just a dry chunk of cork that didn’t fit worth a .... soaked it in clean water for a few days and the fit was much better but it got moldy after a month. Did some measurements and figured a #12 stopper would work. Found your site and ordered a #12 silicone stopper. It fits and seals perfectly a 500 gm jar of Pommery mustard. I have a few Eagle mason jars and was looking for a dishwasher safe stopper for them. These fit perfectly. My only suggestion is I would like to have them 1 1/2 inches long rather than 1 inch.

Anyone who has the vintage Stanley A-1357B one quart wide mouth from the 1970s and 1980s that either used the non screw beige stopper this works perfect and tight no leaks; a win! This company delivers resonably within a week max and you can get cork replacment for the old Stanleys or even the vintage 1970-1990s one quarts if your missing a stopper you can get a cork one. I so advise you to check this company out. Thanks for being a replacment to the old days of the local hardware store. I just suggest you measure before you order your hole for your thermos.

Especially appreciate the high temperature range for sterilizing, as they are used for consumable liquids. Perfect fit, make sure you measure everything well. I am drilling into it and adding a cabinet knob for extra panache. Wish they were also made larger. Great product.
